| Administrative History | RWE is a German based global energy company that has existed for over 100 years. Having already established an onshore windfarm at Camster, RWE proposed a second installation of 10 turbines. As of October 2023 Camster II was under construction.
An operational community fund, administered by Foundation Scotland, was set up on completion of the first windfarm. All decisions on the allocation of funding made by a panel of local people. Camster II Wind Farm, once operational, will bring with it further community funding. |
