Administrative HistoryThe Caithness Industrial Exhibition was held in the Temperance Hall in Wick, opening on the 3rd of March 1868. It was organised by the Wick Total Abstinence Society to showcase items made in Caithness, both industrial and ornamental. There were displays of agricultural implements and machines, fishing material, cooper’s work, boat models, furniture, tinwork, clothing, and needlework.
