Description | Folder containing photocopy of the diary of Sinclair Manson on his return to Castletown, Caithness, from Canada in July 1919. Also contains copies of Sinclair Manson's transcripts of character references given to him by William Leith, Justice of the Peace and Major in the 1st Caithness Volunteers ("he was for many years a foreman on several of the largest farms in the district.
