Administrative HistoryThe town and county club in Wick was established in 1924 as a member's only social club. Initially a men-only organisation, however later allowed women to become members. The Wick Club was one of the last in the country to have a men-only bar. The club ran until 2010 when it folded. The club held social events and was involved in charity work, particularly providing some aid to WWII widows.
