Administrative HistoryCharles Keith Sutherland (5 Jun 1919-26 May 1993) was born in Lanergill Schoolhouse, Watten. His father, John Sutherland, was the schoolmaster there and his mother, Annie Sutherland nee Keith, was also a teacher. After finishing university in Edinburgh, his studies disrupted by the Second World War, Charles Keith Sutherland became a teacher in Falkirk.
