| Administrative History | The Wick and District Trades Council was affiliated to the Scottish Trades Union Congress in 1943. Meetings of the council and its executive committee recorded in the volumes listed here were held in Wick at 21 Saltoun Street, in the period 1944 -1946, Shore Road, 1946 and 1958-1967, and in Harbour Terrace, 1946-1951. The minute books are of the same type, with perforated interleaves on which carbon copies of the minutes were made, presumably for forwarding to the S.T.U.C. in Glasgow. |
