Administrative History | Donald Macintosh, born at Ballintuim, Dunlichity in 1814, was the first boy to be accepted into Inverness Royal Academy under the trust fund established by Capt. William Mackintosh of Farr. He taught at Drumnadrochit, where he met and married Catherine MacMillan, and later at Maud in Strathglass.
