Administrative History | Angus MacLeod MBE came to Inverness College from the Isle of Harris in 1963 as a student on a pre-apprenticeship course, commencing an involvement with the college which has spanned almost fifty years. Appointed a Lecturer at the College in 1971, he was Programme Manager for Construction Crafts and Head of the School of Building and Construction prior to becoming Head of the School of Construction and Forestry in 2000, holding this position until his retirement in October 2011. Between 1972 and 1994 he was master/warden at several of the College's Halls of Residence. Angus MacLeod is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Involvement and has served as a committee and council member at both local and national levels. |
