| Administrative History | In 1906 by Bradley Martin Balmacaan proposed to build the Glen Urquhart Public Hall as a gift to the people of Glen Urquhart. The estimated cost of construction was £500.The Hall was to be used for all properly conducted Public, Political and Religious meetings; lectures, singing and music classes; concerts, movies, social meetings and other entertainment. In 2006 the Hall's Centenary was celebrated by an exhibition detailing its history and the significant contribution it makes to the social life of the people of Glen Urquhart. |
