| Administrative History | Robert Donald M.B.E., born Bothwell, Lanarkshire, 1880 served with distinction in the RFC/RAF during WW1 later moving to Inverness where he became Chairman and Director of MacRae & Dick Ltd. Robert's wife, Beatrice was a passionate tennis player and member of the Inverness Tennis Club. The family lived at Balrobert near Essich where most of the movie footage on this DVD transfer was taken. The two reels of 16mm film each contained a compilation of clips arranged in a non-cronological order. Most are in black & white, some in colour. |
