Administrative HistoryHarry Gordon was born in Aberdeen in July 1893 as Alexander Gordon and died in Glasgow Royal Infirmary in January 1957. He was a Scottish comedian and Impressionist, touring throughout Scotland. Inversnecky was a fictional town (of which he was known as “the Laird”), inspired by the village of Banchory.
