| Administrative History | Sister Mildred Coburne (religious name Sister Saint Mildred of Lourdes) was a member of the Inverness community of the Daughters of Wisdom which was established in 1953 and ran until approximately 1982. Mildred was a keen collector and documentarian and responsible for gathering together the early archive of the Daughters of Wisdom. The “Highland One” was the oil jacket constructed by Highland Fabricators at Nigg, Ross-shire for use in the BP Forties oilfield from 1975. |
