| Administrative History | Mr Murdoch was a Consulting Engineer for WT Halcrow and Partners, later Sir William Halcrow and Partners (1944-1998). After World War II, the company was involved in many of the large scale Hydro electric projects in the North of Scotland, from which the bulk of the records in this collection derive. The company, now renamed the Halcrow Group Ltd. in 1998, remains a leading consulting engineering firm. Mr Murdoch was also an engineer for Inverness Harbour Trust. |
