| Administrative History | Edward Meldrum was a professional Architect, once employed by Inverness County Council as Deputy County Architect, and subsequently by Highland Health Board. He was prominent in Civic Trust and conservation circles and was actively interested in the physical and cultural history of Inverness and its environs. He collected papers relating to the architectural history of many buildings in Inverness and elsewhere in the Highlands. H died on 7 April 1989. |
