Administrative HistoryMiss Margaret MacDougall (d.1960) was Inverness County and Burgh Librarian and curator of Inverness Museum. She was a native of Inverness and took an active interest in the history of her home town and the Highlands, and in tartan studies. She also wrote numerous articles and became a specialist in local history, especially old Inverness silver.
