| Description | The company was incorporated under Act of Parliament of 14 August 1896 (59 & 60 Vict., ch. ccxl). A further Act of 1897 (60 & 61 Vict., ch. ccxvii) allowed additional capital to be raised as well as the erection of an hotel. The company was amalgamated with the North British Railway under the North British (Invergarry and Fort Augustus Railway Vesting) Order Confirmation Act 1914. |
