| Administrative History | The Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland is concerned with the protection, preservation, study and appreciation of Scottish buildings.
The Society was originally formed as a group in 1956 for the prevention of demolishing George Square in Edinburgh.
The group was later established as the Scottish Georgian Society in 1959, and adopted the current name Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland in 1984. |
